Harold Kopman DDS Periodontist, Long Island

Dr. Kopman received his D.D.S. from Howard University in 1967 and then received a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Periodontics from Boston University Graduate School of Dentistry in 1969 under the tutelage of Dr. Gerald Kramer, the world-renowned periodontist and educator. Dr. Kopman then enlisted in the Air Force as a Captain and spent 2 years at Andrews Air Force Base where he treated the general staff of the Pentagon as well as other high ranking officers and enlisted personnel. Dr. Kopman has lectured extensively on the topics of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. He was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Peritonitis at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and a Clinical Instructor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kopman is past editor of the Suffolk County Dental Bulletin, Past President of the Long Island Academy of Periodonotlogy, and Co-Chairman of The Next Generation Dental Study Club.
